Change from a reimbursing employer to a taxpaying employer

Note: You cannot change your status if there is any debt on the account.

To change from a reimbursing employer to a taxpaying employer:

1. Log in to your account at ui.mn.gov
2. On My Home Page, click Account Maintenance.
3. Click Change Reimbursing to Taxpaying.
4. Check the checkbox next to: I agree to change my account to Taxpaying status.
5. Click Next. The Change of Business Status-Election to Taxpaying page opens.

The Change of Business Status-Election to Taxpaying page is your confirmation. Print the page for your records.
