Traveling outside your local area to look for work:
- You must actively seek work throughout any week for which you expect benefits. You can find local job seeking assistance wherever you are. Go to www.servicelocator.org
- Continue to make weekly benefit payment requests online or by phone.
- Check for messages in your benefit account online or by phone. If for any reason we send you a questionnaire or determination, it may require a quick response from you.
- If you move, you must update your address information. Do this even if you have returned to work. Remember to update your direct deposit information if your bank account has changed.
Traveling for any other reason:
You cannot be paid benefits for the time you travel outside your local area unless the purpose of your trip is to seek work.
