    Paid Leave: Updates to UIMN.org

    To make sure employers get the help they need, we recently made a few updates to our website. 

    To start, we added links to the left navigation to our Paid Leave page and additional resources.

    Next, we created a few new pages that help you through the Joint UI/Paid Leave and/or Paid-Leave-ONLY registration process and provides guidance on how to submit wage detail information for your employee(s). 

    Both the left navigation and Paid Leave page include links to:

    1. Getting started – Learn which category of employer you fall into and the type of employer account you will be assigned: 
      • Joint UI/Paid Leave account 
      • Paid-Leave-ONLY account 
      • Joint UI/Paid Leave and Paid-Leave-ONLY 
    2. Information to register – Find detailed explanations related to the specific information we ask you during the registration process. 
    3. Reporting Wage Detail – Learn which filing method will work best for your situation, along with additional resources for reporting an employee’s wage information.

    These changes are part of our ongoing commitment to improving your experience with us. We will update this website with more information as we get closer to the Paid Leave program’s start date in 2026.
